regions, many of which were water rich, such as the US within the next generation.
Damn levels in Sydney
are at crisis point.
The stanadard operating level for the damn to flow is
50% The average damn levels at the
moment, according to Sydney water are 42.5% with some of the local
damns such as Woronora / Sutherland Shire are as low as 32%.
The approval of a gold
mine has just been passed in Chile.
The gold mining company is set to drill holes in the glacier to
extract the gold which will destroy the glacier and the livelihoods
of local people plus contaminate all existing rivers connected
to the glacier. This mine has to be stopped as this is the main
source of water in the region plus the livelihood of local people.
Redevelopment approved

We have just found out that the council
has just reopened ther sand dunes back to the public and hopefully
will stop development.
Development of A.D.I (Australian Defense
Industries) site in greater Sydney has been approved, which will
take away much of the last bush land areas. Sydney is already drought
stricken and if we take away more bush, we will just keep feeding
the drought.
Approval of extended
cutting of Tasmania’s
forests have been confirmed by the Prime Minister because it keeps
people employed.
Rainforest used to cover 14% of the
worlds area, it is now down to 6%, all within the last 40 years.
One and a half acres of forest is
cut every second!
By the year 2020 if we don't start implementing
solutions on a grand scale the damage will be beyond repair. Trees
attract rain.
